Cap'n Morgan, his Bos'un and all Hands: 6 Month Well-Checkup

So Nathan was a big kid and got four shots at his 6 month checkup. He had his normal three, and also a flu shot. He had some local reactions to all four...again. But they're mostly gone now. He has six teeth now, and he's pulling himself up to stand. Stand in the crib, on the couch, climb on mom and dad, go for the computer cords or whatever else he's not supposed to be chewing on.

He's a pro at baby food. When we get our food money thursday we'll get some veggies we can cook and mash for him. Along those lines, Grandma Spencer found us a food processor at a garage sale. Baby food here we come! He eats so much now, we have so many glass jars to use. So many.

I went to the eye doctor today and it looks like I'm going to have to get glasses. He said I have a minor astigmatism, but nothing serious. Never had an eye exam before. It was something else. I felt bad when I couldn't read the letters on the wall, but it was vastly easier when he had me look through the machine.

Daniel got more hours with New Horizon, very happy about that!
