A Few Updates

There have been a few good developments lately! Nathan is successfully covered by ohp (Oregon health plan), and we went to his two-week checkup. Everything is good! He weighed in at 10 and a half pounds. I'm not sure I like his pediatrician, but we'll just see how it goes. She's nice, but I suppose I just don't really like women doctors. But like I said, we'll see how it goes. He had his second (and final) pku test, and that tests for some physical disorders. We'll get the results for that next month.

At any rate, his sleep patterns are ever so slowly shifting to night, which is nice. I've been trying to get a nap in every day, but some days it just doesn't happen. I really miss going to meetings, I can't wait until we can go again. I want Nathan to be a little better behaved, and I want to be a little more healed before we start going regularly again. So with that stated, we'll probably start going again the 17th, expect to see us! Sundays will be hard without Daniel to help, but I know I'll have help from friends if I ask.

Along those lines, Daniel has put in notice to his work. It's not notice for a set amount of time, because they have to train a replacement. However, if anyone has any good job leads, now is really the time to let us know! Also, we put in our 30 days notice to the apartment. Our last day is the 24th. We're still staying with my folks, but we hope to be moved in to a new place soon. We cleared up the issue with VonKlein property management and just need to renew our application for the place on w12th St. and put in our application for the place on w18th. Updates as that situation improves. So the call to move will probably come in the next few weeks, and if we're not attending meetings again/yet, it will be a good time to introduce Nathan to everyone! He's such a cutie.
